INSPIRING CHANGE…

Lebara believes in giving something back and devising ways in which business can make a difference. The Lebara Foundation idea was hatched in 2005 by a group of trustees, to provide housing and schooling for displaced children.

We are the non-profit, philanthropic arm of the LEBARA Group, which contributes a portion of its profits to the Foundation. The Lebara Foundation is committed to delivering services that will make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children.

We achieve this through strategic investment decisions based on the level of impact and its sustainability. We establish partnerships with key agencies to deliver high-quality services for children who are affected by conflict and poverty.

We are a rapidly growing Foundation, with a unique combination of staff and trustees from diverse business and international development backgrounds.

We are developing a significant portfolio of high-quality, innovative development projects in Asia, South America and Africa in partnership with the United Nations, international non-governmental organisations, the private sector, national governments and communities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to have a sustainable impact on the quality of life of vulnerable children by assisting them to increase access to shelter/housing, food and clean water.

We aspire to be a leader in the fight against child poverty. We invest money where it is required most and where it will create lasting change for vulnerable communities. We are committed to the UN Child Rights Convention and Millennium Development Goals.

We promote

  • Access to shelter, housing and clean water forĀ children in need
  • Placing children and their carers at the centre in order to find innovative and effective solutions to the challenges they face through delivering quick and sustainable solutions.
  • Equal rights and dignity for all
  • Non-discriminatory practice
  • Transparency and accountability.
